Skaalvenn Distillery & Cocktail Lounge

We walk into a pretty generic office building with halls that smell like kitty litter to the back to a door that looks it could lead to a fly by night car detailing business and are shocked. You walk through the doors and are instantly transported to a cool, dimly lit speakeasy. Great drinks, funky music, and cool atmosphere. We will definitely be back. Drinks are a little pricey but worth it when you see the care that goes into making them and the process behind some of them!

Visited with my husband twice. First when we decided to try it out & it’s gives a speakeasy vibe. Second time was when they had their taste of Asia event. I would highly recommend to check this place out! Unique vibe & experience. Plus passionate owners & staff are great!

What a delightful secret spot! We drove almost one hour to celebrate a special occasion and I am so impressed! First, we entered by walking through a plain office building that led us to ...open ... the ... door ... to..."WOW! Are you kidding me?! This is an absolute MUST VISIT speakeasy on your adventures out! We ordered a first round of cocktails: -the "In Fashioned" -a "Hot Toddy" The Brule Orange is the singular most delicious accoutrement I have ever had on a cocktail! I would like to order 100 of these, please. The In Fashioned was simply a work of edible art...in both taste and visual appeal. My husband had the Hot Toddy, which came in a gorgeous golden tea cup. Overall, the drinks were fantastic, the space is over the top jaw-dropping cool, and the staff all made this night out memorable!!

They can make a great old fashion. The staff is friendly. I also got a flight of their spirits and their gin is spectacular. It would make a great martini. The owner is amazing. He took us on a tour. He’s so sweet. The gin is fantastic. Like I said the bourbon is still pretty young, but there’s a lot of potential there for bourbon. If you’re a bourbon connoisseur had such an amazing time there drinks by far, hands-down, exceptional, cocktails.

Looking forward to revisiting this cocktail lounge. I am beyond impressed! The service, the atmosphere, the presentation, even down to getting your bill inside a CD case… The cocktail and food was fabulous, as well as presentation. Way to go!

Definitely head to Skaalvenn if you’re up for new cocktails you haven’t tried before. Very knowledgeable servers/bartenders that are willing to describe flavors and ingredients of everything on the menu. Very cool atmosphere hidden inside an office park - bit of a speakeasy vibe. Local meat market hotdogs on the snack menu as well.
