Description
  • Ron Veroes is a Venezuelan rum brand produced at the San Javier Distillery in the state of Yaracuy. Holding the Protected Geographical Indication Ron de Venezuela, the spirit reflects the environmental conditions of the San Felipe region. The production process utilises local sugar cane molasses and water from nearby sources, with fermentation aided by specific yeast strains. Distillation occurs in Yaracuy, while the liquid undergoes ageing in American white oak barrels in Carúpano to benefit from the coastal climate. The flagship Ron Añejo Veroes is a blend aged for a minimum of four years. Recent accolades include recognition at the 2024 San Francisco World Spirits Competition. The distillery offers guided tours and tasting sessions for visitors.
