Kansas

The Sunflower State is also called The Wheat State because of the agriculture in America’s Heartland.
Kansas is named after the Kansas River and in turn named after the Kansa people. Known for its Mesozoic rocks, Western Kansas is covered by the Great Plains, which rise in elevation towards the Rocky Mountains. in the northeast are the Dissected Till Plains, the Southeast Plains has the Osage Plains limestone, and Flint Hills.
For a long time, there was no rum producers here, but in 2024 that changed.
