Wales, the “Land of the Dragons” has a wet, temperate climate and is known for its mountainous landscapes and rugged west coastline. While rum wasn’t traditionally distilled here, a long history of spirit-making has led to a recent surge in craft rum. Since 2017, small Welsh producers have been creating unique spiced rums, even experimenting with seaweed infusions, and organic production methods.
