St Helena, “Napoleon’s Island” for its famous exiled resident, St Helena has a subtropical climate on a remote volcanic island in the South Atlantic. The world’s most remote distillery, established in 2006 by a Welsh distiller, surprisingly produces rum using locally-grown sugarcane.
