Egypt, the Gift of the Nile a and Land of Ancient Wonders has geography to match. Defined by the mighty River Nile and it’s ecosystem, the Suez Canal, and the rugged peaks of the Sinai Peninsula. Its Red Sea coast has incredible marine biodiversity popular with visitors. This warm climate is also home to Egypt’s only rum producer. The word ‘alcohol’ originates here and ancient Egyptians had knowledge of distilling. And, while Egyptians have enjoyed fresh sugarcane juice daily for millennia, the country’s rum production is a more recent.
