The Fynoderee Distillery

Such a fantastic distillery! I visited last year during TT Practice Week and joined the tour with a tasting session. It was an phenomenal experience - a delightful and personal journey through the distillery’s history and origin of the ingredients/ideas, it‘s truly worth it. The products are not only delicious but also beautifully designed. I can’t wait to come back!

A lovely Manx distillery in the heart of Ramsay. A great selection of gins, rum and vodka. There is a bar on site which you can taste before buying. You can see into the distillery and the staff are knowledgable. Other merchandise is available and distillery tours. Parking across the train tracks on a car park a short walk from the site. Would recommend a visit.

Excellent tour. Lasts approx 90 mins. Introduction with tastings followed by actual tour. They distill gin, whisky, rum and vodka. The whisky distillation process is the most interesting. Good value with a gin and tonic before the tour starts. Highly recommend.

It was a great experience! One of the best gins I've tasted :) The tour was great to get to know the history of the place + some Manx culture as well. The mixing tasting was great too!

If you are hesitating over whether to purchase a tasting and tour of the distillery, go ahead and book it. A friend and I had the pleasure of this experience last week and it was a true delight. It's not just that the drinks are delicious, but as you listen to the stories behind each bottle you discover what a great business this is; it's deeply rooted in Manx history and folklore, paying tribute to the land from which its ingredients are foraged, but also collaborative and innovative, bringing in influences from contemporary island life. I left with a huge amount of respect for what Fynoderee are trying to do and will absolutely be recommending their products to everyone back in the "adjacent isle".
