We got there super late. The sign says the kitchen stays open late. True to that. We got the chicken tacos (decent size), chicken BLT (ate half, took half home), fried brussel sprouts -yum, and sausage plate. Nice atmosphere.

The food and service was great. We had soup and Rueben sandwiches. The gin and tonics were so good we had to buy a bottle of their gin. Shedcat at has become one of our favorite places in Tahoe.

I think this is the first all-category five star review I’ve ever posted. This place ROCKS.Atmosphere? Gorgeous. Food and bev? Locally sourced and delicious. Staff? Friendly and knowledgeable. Hayley and Jason were both amazing. Jason is also a distiller here and is more than happy to share knowledge on the spirits they make.If you are visiting South Lake this place is not to be missed.

solid Sunday eve jazz quintet, some very innovative blended cocktails, friendly top level service at the bar, recommend the fish tacos. On the trip highlights and plan-to-return list.

Really good food! We went for lunch and sat outside with the dogs. The margarita was nice and pretty strong. The burrata salad was delicious, and very sweet. The poboy was nice too! We enjoyed the service and enjoyed sitting with the dogs.
