St. Vincent and the Grenadines is the “Jewels of the Caribbean,” in the Lesser Antilles volcanic arc archipelago of 32 islands. Sugarcane once thrived here, making the British colony a major exporter in the early days. A distillery established in the early 20th century, in the foothills of the imposing La Soufrière volcano. They create a range of molasses-based rums, including a strong overproof rum. The rum is part of the West Indies Rum & Spirits Producers Association (WIRSPA) family, a mark of quality in rum.
