Saint Kitts and Nevis is a two-island nation with volcanic peaks and a rum scene split by its geography. Despite their small size, rum production here dates back to the 17th century. Currently, there’s a revival at one of the oldest rum distilleries to highlight the islands long rum-making heritage. Traditional methods with producers use antique copper pot stills and focus on rum from locally grown sugarcane juice. Nevis is the smaller island and has a distillery where you can try the national drink Ting with a Sting, a refreshing mix of rum and grapefruit soda. Saint Kitts and Nevis has much to offer rum lovers.
