Earl, the owner & distiller, was at the bar to serve us and educate us about his product. Excellent rye whiskey and bourbon. It's a small place, but cozy and worth the visit. On-street parking only. Add this to your list of distillery tours.

Found a really cool craft distillery that's producing good small batch bourbon and rum.Earl, the owner & distiller, hosts a 1 hr tour and tasting where you get to hear his story, learn about distilling, and taste their yummy spirits. I'm looking forward to the day where they can hosts events and sell pours.We there enjoyed their Bourbon (lots of flavor at lower proof ) and Single Malt.

Delicious whiskey! Got some for my mom and her Scotch connoisseur friends loved it. I've tried all sorts of whiskey all over and this distillery has it full bodied flavor and beautiful smell of oak. This is first distillery in Oakland since before Prohibition and is definitely worth a bottle.

Oakland has its first distillery since Prohibition! Two partners mash, distill and barrel onsite (no bulk bought spirits w just a little extra added to make it "oakland"- it is the real deal!). Their Rye (super smooth and rich...no harsh burn) is my go-to gift for house-warming and xmas gifts. Minus 1 star for having to buy at local liquor stores and not onsite sales.
