New Grove Distillery

Beautiful museum. If you noticed the suger cane all around the island, definitely visit this museum to know the history behind sugar and Mauritius. You will be able to taste different kinds of sugar, jams, rum and honey! There is also a restaurant in the complex. There is a public wifi and you can download an audio guide on your mobile device.

It's an amazing, safe and peaceful place. It's a blend of antique and modern architecture. Some of my childhood memories are attached to this place, even today this place fascinates me.

Doing this tour is very informative. We went in September 2018. The only thing is we expected to see million of different flowers set in gardens but there were none. The gardens are mostly about trees and plants. The sugarcane museum was very interesting. The tasting of the different sugars and rums produced on the island makes it a worthwile tour.

Kids park needs swings but very good otherwise, liked the idea were a man can change a baby if needed, but nappy bins need changing more often as it was a big bin and was half full on SMELLY nappies, Food court great
